Trichoderma species, largely used in organic and integrated agriculture to reduce and control diseases on several cultures, could play an important role for an efficient and sustainable control of these GTDs. For this reason, since 2000s, the effects of the Trichoderma use on grapevine trunk disease were studied in the main wine-growing areas worldwide. This technical article give an overview of knowledge, results and application of Trichoderma-based products in european vineyards.
